Lost Freedom

Have you, or any one you know, lost their freedom because of breaking the law or illness? Do you remember what it is like or is it happening to you right now? To be able to do all the things you want to do, when you want to do them, and then lose the privilege or ability to do them.

It is a hard time to see it in someone else’s life or experience it in your own. It is being out of control of your life and having others make your decisions for you.

Lost freedom in America is a serious issue, especially when it touches you personally. In the above reasons, one is for your good and the other is for everyone else’s good. Either way you have lost your freedom. There is a way to be free even under those circumstances and that is through Jesus Christ. Jesus said, "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." (John 8:36 ESV)

The freedom you get with Jesus is the only true freedom there is. You can have it in the hospital, in prison, in times of trouble, in America, Japan, or Europe.

This freedom comes from knowing the only One who can truly set you free.

This freedom goes beyond the physical nature of our lives and sets our soul free. Bars, bad health, or any barrier does not bind this freedom. If you have lost your freedom and want to be free indeed, get Jesus in your life and let Him set you really free.
