Jenny Steffen and Zach Hoover both of Waterloo are announcing their engagement and approaching wedding.

Parents of the couple are James and Sheri Steffen of La Porte City; and Donna and Ken Rasmussen and Mark and Kim Hoover each of Independence.

The bride-elect is the Executive Assistant and Scholarship Coordinator for the Hawkeye Community College Foundation, and the groom-elect is the General Manager of Fanatics Sports Bar and Grille.

A summer wedding will take place in Waterloo.
