Katie Frost and Jason Hines are announcing their engagement and approaching wedding. Parents of the couple are Jackie and the late Stan Frost of La Porte City and JoEllen and Darin Mead and Duncan Hines of Waterloo.

The bride-elect is employed by Image Pointe, and the groom-elect is employed by Mike Dolan Concrete and Masonry.

Vows will be exchanged August 14, 2010, in Nashua, with a reception to follow at the American Legion in Gilbertville.
