John and Jackie Schoettmer - 06/27/2009

John and Jacqueline Schoettmer of Vinton are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

The family will host an open house in their honor on Friday, June 12 from 5 to 8 pm at the Ray House, 912 1st Avenue, Vinton. Friends and relatives are invited.

The former Jacqueline England and John Schoettmer were married at Christ United Methodist Church in Belle Plaine on June 27, 1959.

Their four children are David (Julie) Schoettmer of Palo; Jolene (Jeff) Kronschnabel of La Porte City; Kipp (Melinda) Schoettmer of Vinton; Eric (Jennifer) Schoettmer of Newhall. They have nine grandchildren.
