Vi Neil is Woman of the Year

The La Porte City Women’s Club Woman of the Year in 2009 is Vi Neil. Kathy Norris presented the award to her on behalf of the club, citing several reasons for her selection.

Vi is always ready to share her time and energy, be it with her family, friends, church and even the state of Iowa, through her work with Terrace Hill. In 1995, Vi was one of the founding members of the La Porte City Garden Club and has been an instrumental figure in several beautification projects in and around La Porte City.
