Expanded Hours for Waterloo Covenant Clinic

Covenant Clinic announces temporary expanded hours for walk in clinic to accommodate more patients due to increased demand this flu season. The Convenient Care office at 2710 St. Francis Drive, Suite 111, Waterloo will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday beginning on Thursday, October 29, 2009. Convenient Care will also continue to offer walk in clinic hours from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. In addition, the Covenant Clinic Primary Care office 2710 St. Francis Drive, Suite 210, Waterloo will also offer walk in clinic hours from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday for those with flu like symptoms.

“Your regular doctor’s office may recommend you see another provider at a different location if their schedule is already full. We ask the public to be open to seeing different providers and/or going to a different clinic location so we are able to accommodate all patients in a more timely manner during this flu season,” Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare-Iowa Medical Affairs Vice-President Dr. Paul Franke said. “We ask those with flu like symptoms to follow the at home care recommendations and monitor the emergency warning signs carefully. If you feel you need to be seen by a provider you can take advantage of these expanded no appointment necessary clinic hours. We will continue to monitor the situation on a daily basis and evaluate options to best serve patients in the Cedar Valley."
