In 2012, students with autism are finding their way into regular education classrooms in greater numbers.

HIGHEST HONORS – Senior Brittany Appleton of Union High School was honored as Best of Class by KWWL-TV and Wartburg College on April 28. The following day, Brittany traveled to Des Moines and was also recognized as a Governor’s Scholar. She is the daughter of Lisa and Scott Appleton of La Porte City.
