Beverly Lucille Kane, 80, of Cedar Falls, formerly of Waterloo, died January 8, 2010, at Windsor Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born August 2, 1929, in Sumner the daughter of Lawrence and Martha Blasckhe Cosby. She married Robert Kane in 1948 in Sumner; they were later divorced.

She worked as a waitress for 35 years in Waterloo area restaurants, retiring in 1985.

She is survived by three sons, Steve (Rose) Kane of Cedar Rapids, Larry (Arlene) Kane of La Porte City, Don (Cindy) Kane of Nevada, IA; one daughter, Cynthia Lawson of Savannah, GA; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren and one sister, Verdena Morris of Evansdale.

Preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers and one sister.
