Saturday, February 27, 2010Carl and Beverly Scott of Dysart will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an Open House honoring the couple on Saturday, February 27, 2010, at the Dysart Community Building from 5 PM - 10 PM. All friends and family are invited to attend.
Carl Scott and Beverly Kearns were married February, 29, 1960 at Carl’s parents’ home in La Porte City. The family resided in La Porte City until they moved to Dysart in 1989. Carl is employed by Bill Scott Trucking and Beverly is a homemaker. Their family consists of four daughters, Darla (Mark) Miller, Deanna Scott, Dana Scott and Danille (Chad) Hansen; seven sons, Carl Scott Jr., Harold (Mari Jo) Scott, Bill Scott, Jim Scott, Danny (Denise) Scott, Dennis (Dorothy) Scott and Donald Scott. They also have 27 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
The couple request no gifts, only cards.
