Lacy Shileny and Scott Meyer were married August 29, 2009, in Cedar Falls.

Parents of the couple are Dennis and Mary Shileny of La Porte City, Harry and Elaine Brannen of Van Meter, and Steve and Lori Meyer of Johnston.

Pastor Eric Sloter performed the 5:00 PM ceremony at the Park Place Event Centre, Cedar Falls.

Matron of honor was Rachel Meyer of Ankeny, sister-in-law of the groom. The bridesmaid was Johanna Albaugh of Des Moines, friend of the bride. The junior bridesmaid was Jenna Lukes of Denver, CO., cousin of the bride. Personal attendants were Kat Sexton of Cedar Rapids, Briana Johnson of Vinton, friends of the bride.

Best man was Ryan Meyer of Ankeny, brother of the groom. Groomsman was Michael Brodie of Madison, WI, friend of the groom. The junior groomsman was Tanner Bruns, of Cedar Rapids, cousin of the bride.

Seating the guests were Don Jury of Polk City and Jake Jury of Ankeny, cousins of the groom.

Flower girls were Rachael Lukes of Denver, Co. and Isabelle Lukes, of Stewartville, MN, cousins of the bride.

The bride is a Chemist for Cargill, in Cedar Rapids. The groom is a Project Engineer for Viking Pump in Cedar Falls.

The bride and groom spent their honeymoon in Cancun and currently reside in Cedar Falls.
