The Lady Knights stayed with the Cedar Falls Tigers until midway through the fourth quarter in a non-conference game played in La Porte City on February 6. Union led 22-21 going into the fourth quarter when CF’s Courtney Dreyer hit the go ahead three pointer. Union kept it close, trailing by only two when the Tigers started profiting on Knight fouls. Cedar Falls got up by eight with 46.7 to play and Union could not close the gap.
