The La Porte City Economic Development Commission and La Porte City Chamber of Commerce have selected Witham Auto Center as the 2009 La Porte City Business of the Year. 2009 marks the first year for the selection of the Business of the Year, an award that will continue to be given on an annual basis.

Witham Auto Center was chosen based upon their continued participation in Chamber of Commerce and community-wide events.  The award winner also has a strong history in the community and tremendous future growth potential. 

"Several businesses in La Porte City are more than worthy of the Business of the Year award, but Witham Auto Center stood out among the rest.  We are proud to have their business in our community," stated Sarah Craft, Economic Development Commission Chairperson.

Witham Auto Center was presented with a traveling plaque during a community reception on Thursday, February 25th. The plaque will be on display at the Witham Auto Center showroom.
