Three members of the Union High School girls basketball team have received All-Conference recognition.

Freshman Kylie Powell was named to the NICL East All-Conference First Team. During conference play, Powell scored 159 points, averaging 11.4 per game. She connected on 13-51 three point attempts and shot 70.6% from the free throw line for the Lady Knights.

Second Team All-Conference went to senior point guard, Lauren Bauer. Bauer scored 131 points during the conference play, averaging 9.4 per game. She shot 35.7% from the field and 50% from the free throw line. In addition to Second Team, All-Conference, Bauer was also one of ten girls from 13 teams to be named to the North East Iowa All-District team by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association.

Selected as an All-Conference Honorable Mention was senior Ashley Hager. Hager scored 81 points in conference action, averaging 5.8 points per game. She connected on 61.5% of her shots from the field and 63% of her free throws. Hager has also been selected to play in the Iowa Girls Coaches Association All-Star game on Saturday, April 10 at Mt. Mercy College in Cedar Rapids.

The Knights finished with a 16-7 record overall, 11-3 in the conference behind the first place Wapsie Valley Warriors.
